What is UAE corporate tax?

UAE corporate tax is a 9% federal tax on business profits above AED 375,000, introduced under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 and effective for financial years starting on or after 1 June 2023. Profits at or below AED 375,000 are taxed at 0%. Every taxable business must register with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and file a corporate tax return within 9 months of its financial year end.
